 Marriage

Priests are instructed by the Bishop to make sure couples are adequately prepared before they participate in marriages. This will mean the couple gives notice to the priest six months prior to their wedding.

It is a requirement that couples wishing to marry in the Catholic Church undertake a Pre-Marriage Course.  Couples need to enrol for the course at least six months prior to the wedding day.
